ACC CONFERENCE IDENTITY
+ MOTION DESIGN
Project Objective: Lead branding, design, and technical execution for an immersive animation experience at the American Conservation Coalition’s Summit, creating dynamic visuals that supported conservation themes in an organic, engaging way.
Challenge: Design a conference identity and large-scale animated backdrop that would set the tone for the summit without distracting from speakers or key events. This identity and animation needed to balance visual appeal with subtlety, enhancing engagement while maintaining focus on the summit’s activities.
Solution: I developed and led the entire branding and design for the conference, creating a seamless day-to-night animated background displayed on stage. This animation featured gently moving animals and environmental elements, evoking a natural world atmosphere and reinforcing the conservation theme. I also designed and coordinated experiential elements, including neon signs, photo backdrops, and wayfinding signage. To bring the conservation theme full circle, I led the design and setup of the stage, incorporating live plants from local nurseries for an authentic, environmental aesthetic.
Key Responsibilities:
Large-Scale Graphics: Conceptualized and executed immersive animations for the stage and supporting visuals to elevate the event experience.
Directional Signage and Collateral: Designed event signage that guided attendees while enhancing the summit's cohesive brand presence.
Conference Branding: Established and maintained a unified visual identity across all materials, reinforcing the conservation theme.
Technical Animation Design: Developed and implemented a seamless animated sequence, with environmental transitions and wildlife elements, that balanced engagement with subtlety.
Prop Styling and Placement: Coordinated prop styling and strategic placement of live plants and scenic decor to create a visually dynamic and conservation-aligned stage setup.
Outcome: The summit’s animation and stage design set a visually engaging tone that resonated with attendees, bringing the conservation message to life in a memorable, immersive way.
